This tour certainly was very different from anything I have done before. I really enjoyed riding on the dirt and getting away from the black stuff. It was refreshing to be out on a fire trail, on my own, without looking in my rear-view mirror. Even though some days were hard, like walking the bike up and down hills on Day 4 through Dingo Dell, the scenery more than made up for it.
The amount of wildlife (and lack of roadkill) was just amazing. Here are a couple of my favourite pictures from the tour;
Currently working on a big trip for this time next year. Looking at going along the Mawson Trail and joining the Oodnadatta Track through South Australia. Already starting to plan this next adventure and will of course have a blog of the tour.
