Adelaide to Melbourne

Day 10: Port Fairy to Port Campbell
Distance travelled: 102 km (63 miles) - Total so far: 935 km (581 miles)

Useful Resources
Port Campbell
Port Campbell National Park
I had a really good sleep and was back on the road at 7am. I took a couple of back roads into Warrnambool. Didn't take to long to get into town with the aid of a nice tailwind. Warrnambool is a reasonable sized town. Stopped here to get a second breakfast and have a little look around.
Tower Hill, an old volcano which is now a lake

After I left Warrnambool I used some more backroads to take me to the Great Ocean Road. I stopped at Cheeseworld to try some tasty cheeses and one of their thick shakes. Very yummy.

I then continued my ride along the Great Ocean Road. Noticed I was getting a real nice tailwind pushing me along. About another 20km I began to get views of the spectacular coastline along the Great Ocean Road. I stopped at a lot of the lookouts to enjoy the views. I continued on to Peterborough where I stopped for lunch next to the river. Just in time for the sun to come out.
Bay of Martyrs

London Bridge

The Grotto

After I continued my ride to Port Campbell, which is my destination for the day. Along the way it was getting more windy, so an even stronger tailwind. So it didn't take me long to get here.

Port Campbell is a small town which seems to only exist for the tourists traveling along the Great Ocean Road. I'm staying at the old backpackers here, as again it is cheaper than the campsite. Also I currently seem to have the whole place to myself.
Port Campbell

Tomorrow I'll be continuing my ride along the Great Ocean Road, plus I have a couple of nice hill climbs to look forward to. Fingers crossed for another great tailwind like today.
